If you aren’t already familiar with O.C. Writers, I’ll let you in on a little secret: we aren’t like other groups. We don’t charge membership dues. We don’t hold monthly meetings. And we aren’t bogged down by bureaucracy.
What we are is a robust network of published and aspiring authors dedicated to supporting, motivating, and helping each other, as well as creating and sharing opportunities for writing growth. We started as a Facebook Group after Nanowrimo 2012 with just a few members and have since grown to more than 300 Facebook members and more than 250 Meetup.com members.
Why have we grown at such an incredible pace?
Because we do some really cool stuff. Click here for a current list of WHAT WE OFFER.
And we’re just getting started. Want to join us? It’s FREE and EASY. Currently, our groups and activities are open to anyone who’s interested.
A good place to start is to join our general group conversations on Facebook here: http://www.facebook.com/groups/ocwriters.
You can also find our schedule of activities here: http://www.meetup.com/OC-Writers.
And you can keep up with news and developments by following the O.C. Writers News blog here: http://www.ocwriters.org/news
Have questions? Drop me a note at firstname.lastname@example.org, and I’ll do my best to help.
